nLayer Communications Announces European Expansion, New Executive Team

nLayer Communications annouces POPs in London and Amsterdam and new management team.

CHICAGO, IL - February 13, 2008 – nLayer Communications, a leader in high-performance Internet connectivity and wholesale bandwidth solutions, today announced the expansion of the company’s IP network into the United Kingdom and the Netherlands.

“This first phase of nLayer’s European expansion establishes the nLayer IP network in London and Amsterdam, two key markets for European IP connectivity,” said Richard Steenbergen, Chief Technology Officer of nLayer . “These two points of presence (POPs) will help expand our network’s international reach, and allow us to provide a broader range of services for our customers. With 30 Gigabits of diverse transatlantic capacity in place, nLayer has the ability to offer the same outstanding service levels in Europe that it presently provides in North America.”

In addition, nLayer Communications announced the appointment of Jordan Lowe as Chief Executive Officer, and Daniel Brosk as Chief Operating Officer. Lowe and Brosk join nLayer’s executive staff with extensive backgrounds in the Internet Service Provider industry as founders of Chicago-based ServerCentral (www.servercentral.net), a managed datacenter solutions provider specializing in bandwidth-intensive colocation applications.

“The addition of these European cities to our network footprint is the first phase of a very aggressive expansion plan,” explained Lowe. “We plan to further extend our network reach into Europe and Asia, along with significant expansion of our network infrastructure and capacity,” said Lowe. “With these exciting developments, nLayer is positioned to continue as a market leader in Internet connectivity.”
