Bandwidth on Demand

Unlike traditional TDM-based transport service such as SONET which provide a only a single fixed capacity, nLayer's packet-switched service makes extra capacity available on demand. This means that customers can instantly upgrade their services as their capacity needs grow, or automatically burst beyond their committed bandwidth levels, rather than dropping excess data. By shifting the cost of transport from a fixed cost to a usage-based cost, many customers see significant savings while increasing their flexibility.
